Step Three:

Check for Ad Tracking and Spy-Ware loaded on your system

There is a very good chance you have ad tracking or spy-ware loaded on to your system which happens by simply surfing the Net. We use a wonderful tool to kill all these nasty little pests... A program called "SpyBot - Search & Destroy"

It will clean all these things off your system that prevent you from free movement online. Spyware can even stop you from going to the spyware competitor's Web sites.

Instructions for scanning with SpyBot;

1. Close down all programs you do not need running.
2. Open the SpyBot program
3. On the left hand side tabs, you should be on the "Spybot: Search-S&D" tab
4. Start the scan by Clicking on the link at the bottom "Check for problems"
5. Let scan finish, then you will see a bunch of things with a check mark beside them, those are what you want to get ride of, and you will see some that have no check mark that are okay to have on your system...
   DO NOT CHANGE ANY CHECK MARKS
6. Click on "Fix selected problems"
7. You then need to scan a 2nd time, and as long as no new threats come up, you are clean. If some more show up, then Fix selected problems again, and scan again. You need to keep doing this until there is nothing showing up in the scan results with a check mark beside it.
   REMEMBER, the ones that show up with no check mark, forget about those, just leave them alone.
   Run SpyBot once a week to keep your system clean.
